The Growing Omaha Market
In addition to a growing population, the Omaha area ( Blair, Bellevue, Fremont, Gretna, La Vista, Papillion, Ralston, Springfield, Council Bluffs) hosts over 19,000 businesses and nonprofit organizations.
According to a 2014 report by Xceligent, the fourth quarter of that year saw the city itself having almost 21 million square feet of office space, not including that in owner-occupied or medical buildings.
What do these numbers mean? With a growing local population, a good local economy and low unemployment, many businesses are starting, growing, expanding and moving to the Omaha area. This is why we say that Omaha is on the move.
With all that movement of businesses to Omaha, the growth of the economy and business boom, so comes the demand for office furniture in the Omaha area.
